I’m Shafiqul Islam (MIM), a motivated and community-driven individual with a strong background in finance and a passion for building meaningful connections. Originally from Bangladesh, my cultural roots play a big role in shaping who I am today—both personally and professionally. My journey has been built on resilience, ambition, and a constant drive to grow and make a positive impact.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, which has given me a solid foundation in financial knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving. This background helps me approach my work with clarity, confidence, and integrity, while always keeping my long-term vision in mind.

Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply involved in the community. I currently serve as Vice President of the Bangladeshi Community of Saint John Inc and also as Vice President of the Rothesay-Quispamsis Community Network. These roles mean a lot to me because they allow me to give back, support others, and help bring people together. Being part of something bigger than myself is something I truly value.

At this stage of my life, I’m focused on building my own independent career path. I believe in creating opportunities, taking calculated risks, and working towards both financial and personal freedom. My goal is not just success, but building something meaningful and sustainable for the future.

Outside of work, I enjoy the simple things that bring me happiness. I love eating and exploring different types of food—it’s my way of experiencing culture and enjoying life. I also really enjoy driving. For me, it’s more than just transportation; it’s a way to clear my mind, relax, and enjoy the moment.

Looking ahead, one of my biggest goals is to travel the world. I want to visit as many countries as possible, experience different cultures, meet new people, and continue expanding my perspective. I believe life is about growth, experiences, and making memories along the way.
