Denis Roberts is originally from Grand Falls–Windsor, Newfoundland — which means he learned early how to work hard, be friendly to everyone, and never trust a weather forecast. He moved to Halifax to attend Saint Mary’s University, where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce and learned that in business, just like back home, relationships matter more than anything else.

After graduating, Denis built a successful corporate career working with well-known companies including Xerox, American Express, and Thomson Reuters, gaining years of experience in sales, client service, and solving problems.

In 2020, Denis decided to trade boardrooms for job sites and became an entrepreneur, running a construction services business for five years. The experience taught him a lot about homes, renovations, budgets, and the reality that nothing ever goes exactly according to plan — which, as it turns out, is great preparation for the mortgage world.

In 2025, Denis earned his Mortgage Broker license and now helps clients navigate the home financing process with straight answers, clear advice, and a sense of humour when the paperwork gets a little too serious.

When he’s not working with clients, Denis enjoys playing and watching hockey, staying involved in community events, and convincing himself he’ll get back in game shape next season. He lives in Tantallon, Nova Scotia with his wife and two teenage kids, who keep him humble, busy, and fully aware that he no longer controls the TV remote. Between family life, community activities, and the occasional attempt to fix things around the house, Denis stays active, involved, and always ready for the next challenge.
